What we do, and what we cannot do

An honest description of the service, including the cases where recovery is unlikely and we will say so.

We handle scam claims and fund recovery. We take the details of what happened to you, work out which recovery routes are still open, pursue them on your behalf, and pass on what is actually recovered. This page sets out the limits of that, because you deserve to know them before you spend time on a claim.

What we do

  • Assess your case. We identify the payment rail you used, the time elapsed, and where the money went — the three things that decide whether recovery is possible at all.
  • Trace the funds. For crypto, we follow the transaction chain to the point where funds entered a service that has compliance obligations. For bank transfers, we work through the chain of receiving accounts.
  • Build and submit the case. Disputes succeed or fail on how they are evidenced and which reason code they are filed under. We prepare the submission and the supporting bundle.
  • Pursue the parties who can actually return money — banks, card schemes, payment processors, exchanges, and where relevant insolvency practitioners and court-appointed receivers.
  • Keep you informed. Every claim has a timeline in your dashboard showing what has been done, by whom, and what is outstanding.
  • Hold and pay out what is recovered. Recovered funds appear in your balance and you withdraw them to your own bank account or wallet.

What we cannot do

  • We cannot guarantee recovery. Nobody can. Any firm that guarantees a result, or quotes a recovery percentage before seeing your case, is not telling you the truth.
  • We cannot reverse a completed blockchain transaction. No one can. Crypto recovery works by following funds to a regulated off-ramp and pursuing that service — not by undoing the transfer.
  • We cannot recover from a wallet that never cashes out. If funds sit in a self-custodied address, or pass through a mixer and never touch a regulated service, there is no counterparty to pursue.
  • We are not a law firm and not law enforcement. We do not prosecute anyone and we cannot compel disclosure. Where a case needs a court order, it needs a lawyer, and we will tell you that.
  • We cannot help when every deadline has closed and no other route exists. Some cases arrive too late. We would rather say so than take the case anyway.

How we charge

We work on contingency: a percentage of what is actually recovered, deducted from the proceeds. We never ask you to pay anything up front, and no payment is ever required in order to release a recovery. If a claim recovers nothing, you owe nothing. See what we charge, and when.

Where recovery is realistic

Broadly, in descending order of likelihood: card payments still inside the dispute window; bank transfers reported within days, particularly in a jurisdiction with a reimbursement scheme; crypto sent to an identifiable exchange deposit address; and funds in a scheme that has been seized or placed into receivership, where a distribution may eventually follow. Cases involving self-custodied wallets, cash, gift cards or money-transfer agents collected months ago are the hardest, and often not viable at all.
